CNBM (Taicang) operates a modern manufacturing plant covering approximately 100,000 m², including a 20,000 m² assembly and commissioning workshop. The facility supports the full process—from coating line design and assembly to commissioning and factory testing—before the equipment is shipped to the customer.
Quality control begins with the inspection of incoming components and continues throughout manufacturing, assembly, and testing. The coater undergoes systematic checks in accordance with our testing procedures, including helium leak detection and residual gas analysis (RGA), to verify the integrity and cleanliness of the vacuum system. A digital management platform is used throughout production and quality control, with manufacturing, inspection, and delivery following standard procedures. This ensures tight control at every stage before the coater leaves the factory, ready for installation at the customer's site.

Incoming Inspection
Every component is inspected upon arrival. Machining accuracy and sealing surface quality are verified against the engineering drawings, ensuring equipment quality from the outset.
In-House Manufacturing of Key Components
Key components such as cathodes are developed and manufactured in-house, with assembly and inspection completed internally. This gives us direct control over one of the core technologies in the coating system.
Coater Assembly
Components inside the compartment modules are assembled using standardized modular procedures, ensuring precision and consistency across the entire coating line.
Installation & Commissioning of Line Subsystems
All line subsystems are installed and commissioned at our factory, so the line is fully operational before delivery and ready for fast on-site start-up.
Pre-Shipment System Testing
Before shipment, the inline sputter coating equipment undergoes systematic testing according to CNBM testing procedures, including helium leak detection, vacuum hold testing and residual gas analysis (RGA). Each test is completed individually, with the results recorded and archived.
Pre-Shipment Performance Testing
Before shipment, the coater is thoroughly cleaned and all sealing surfaces are protected. Protective packaging ensures safe long-distance transport.
